I was even awarded the Mental Health Hero in Media by the Canadian Mental Health Assocation. Hosting a national radio talk show and writing a syndicated column actually stripped my voice. Today, as an independent, my voice has never been stronger.

I come from a family of fighters. As the proud grandchild of Holocaust survivors and the daughter of a human rights pioneer who successfully fought to change Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms, carrying on the fight against Jew-hate is in my DNA.
