One month ago, I accidentally created DahliaKurtz.com, and now I’m Always Write.
Like tripping over a banana peel and falling on your face, I happened over a few keystrokes and fell upon your eyes.
I never intended to create my own Web site. Well, that’s a lie. I always intended to create my own site. I just never did it... Until now... well, 30 days ago...
There are a lot of things we plan to do in life.
We passionately yearn to reach beyond our potential, and sit idly by whilst our potential lags behind.
We help those around us tackle their fears and dreams, and use that as an excuse to avoid our own.
And we use the word “we” in place of “I” to project our issues unto others, and sound more authoritative while (or "whilst") we do it.
Wow, I never truly realized that until I wrote it. From now on, I refuse to use “we” in place of “I.”
You passionately yearn…
Yup. That’s better.
Whatever the case, in the end, somebody has to say it, which is why I have this site. And, remember, if you need a voice, I write very loud.
So, please continue to Digg, Tweet, and share my stuff in whatever way you wish.
Also, I would like to extend an open invitation for you to challenge me and inspire me.
Comment on my articles, check out my recipes from my upcoming lifestyle cookbook, send me shoes, follow me on Twitter, and subscribe to my RSS feed.
(I’m not serious about the shoe thing, you know. If I were I would have told you my size – six.)
So, I’d like to thank all of you: my faithful, my neo-ful, my Aussies (there are – surprisingly – that many of you), and anyone else who takes the time to read my stories and recipes, (whether while upside-down or not).
I know you may not always agree with me, but at least we can agree that I’m Always Write.
